Cherish Chang is a nonbinary QPOC and Creative Director. They hold a BFA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University and are based in Oakland, California. Their studio is focused on cultural storytelling through print design, packaging and branding. They are also presently Creative Director at Afterlife Press, designing publications on contemporary tattooing.
They have worked as a Senior Designer at Mucho San Francisco, and at Imprint Projects with some of the world's leading brands such as Levi’s, Google, PayPal and Apple.
They regularly donate time to SOMArts cultural center, serve as a mentor at Project Mentor working to uplift women in the design industry, and as a portfolio reviewer at AIGA. In their spare time, they can be found at the beach with their dog, Dude.
